This really is 1980s level Gay Panic shit. Though of course the BBC points to attempts by the interviewee to explain how monkeypox is actually transmitted as an alibi for the transparently queerphobic and scaremongering intent of the interviewer.

Very important points that can help us to understand why some want ever-increasing COVID control measures while others want to move on. They didn't experience the same pandemic, and as such have different ideas about what an end would look like.
